Salary: $67,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require that you possess the following qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in C/C++ application development.
• Proficiency with GitHub or GitLab.
• Experience in developing applications for Linux and Windows environments.
• A strong enthusiasm to excel in middleware/application development.
• You should be self-motivated, adaptable, empathetic, energetic, detail-oriented, and kind.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating within a team and the ability to work independently.
• Proficient technical writing and reading abilities.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in DPDK/RDMA, HLS C, CUDA, OpenCL, with a particular focus on deep neural network applications.
• Engineering and project management experience of 2 years or more is advantageous.
• Experience making critical decisions and familiarity with Python and deep learning frameworks (such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or Keras) is a plus.
• Background in kernel driver development would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will:
• Collaborate closely with your colleagues at our Fixstars office in Irvine.
• Construct and evaluate Middleware or application frameworks specifically tailored for image processing and deep neural networks.
• Develop and sustain documentation for both client and internal use.
• Enhance C/C++ applications, foster team improvement, and contribute to our company's growth.
• Set up and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Engage with clients during periodic review meetings, prepare technical reports, and perform other obligations as required.
• Be prepared to undertake additional tasks as necessary.

We are a software technology company located in Irvine, CA, searching for a C/C++ Software Engineer to architect, design, and create modern applications compatible with Linux and Windows systems. This position requires effective communication with our clients, as you will participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including gathering and interpreting user/business system requirements, addressing outages, and developing applications. Your role involves contributing to design discussions and consulting with clients to fine-tune, test, and troubleshoot programs in order to satisfy business objectives. You will also coordinate with third-party collaborators to meet our technology goals.

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday for 40 hours a week, with occasional evening and weekend work as job duties necessitate.
